Originally registered in Northern Ireland, returned to mainland in 1960 as evidenced by the buff logbook, (so a rare UK car, most were exported) with only 2 previous recorded owners. The engine was rebuilt by MG specialist in 2016 and is as sweet as a nut, carbs have been re-furbished, brakes overhauled with silicone fluid used, has had new clutch, rear springs, stainless exhaust etc.. Interior has been re-furbished with new upholstery, door-cards, carpets, hood, side-screens and tonneau cover, chassis and underside is excellent, body is a solid as rock, much of paintwork is old but very acceptable, superbly detailed engine bay, excellent chrome, very good tyres. Drives very well, feeling lively, tight and impressive, comes with some old history including bill of sale from 1963 and Mot’s from same era, receipts for recent work, V5 and an Operations Manual. One to love and cherish |
